Louis Andersen oversees a fleet of 45 commercial and residential refuse trucks for the Town of Gilbert, Arizona, including front-end loaders, rear-loaders, roll-off units, utility flat beds and a bin truck. About a year and a half ago, he converted the entire fleet over to Zonar's Electronic Vehicle Inspection Report system (EVIR) after a successful three month pilot program.

"We are very pleased with the Zonar system, particularly with the coordination between the drivers and the shop that it provides," Andersen says. "Drivers here tend to welcome new technologies and they generally responded well to the new inspection system, too. It was quick and easy for them to learn.

The standardization the system provides is also a big plus. Now all our supervisors are looking at the same kind of report."
