My career with Zonar has been very exciting and diverse. I started out as a independent sales rep. in early 2003 and was brought on full time as a customer service rep. I stayed in that position for about 3 years before becoming a regional manager for 2 years. Next, I was promoted to field service manager which I managed our entire field service team for about 1.5 years. Although customer service has always been a passion of mine, I’m excited for the change. I really enjoy the customer facing side of my job and can’t wait to spread the word of Zonar to non-Zonar customers.

While completing my bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Technology at DeVry University, I was hired at Zonar Systems, Inc., as an electronics technician. Zonar allowed me to attend classes in the morning while working in the afternoons and evenings. Working here, I was able to branch out and collaborate with the different divisions in the company. After only 3 months, I was promoted to system administrator where I learned more about the internal workings of the Zonar system. I have been given the opportunity to grow my skills in designing, developing and maintaining software applications which I now use in my current roll as Director of Software Engineering.

Zonar maintains an exciting working environment. There is a comfortable and friendly atmosphere around the office and something is always going on. People enjoy working here and our customers recognize that when we do business with them.
