While working on my bachelor's degree in computer engineering technology at DeVry University, I looked for an internship in order to get real world experience. I applied at Zonar Systems, Inc., and was hired on as an electronics technician.

Zonar allowed me to attend classes in the morning while working in the afternoons and evenings. Working here, I was able to branch out and collaborate with the different divisions in the company. After only 3 months, I was promoted to system administrator where I learned more about the internal workings of the Zonar system and the process of making successful software. With this experience, I was able to further enhance my skills and assume my current roll as software development manager.

After completing my bachelor's degree in business finance from the University of Idaho, I moved to Seattle in search of employment. I responded to an ad in the Seattle Times and was hired as an administrative accounting assistant at Zonar Systems, Inc.

As Zonar's first employee, I was assigned multiple tasks and was able to work hand-in-hand with the marketing department, production, and sales. I was rapidly promoted to office manager and shortly after offered the position of controller.

Zonar has fully supported my professional growth and is currently supplying me with tuition assistance to attend accounting classes at Central Washington University in pursuit of my C.M.A certification.

I have found the perfect place for me! After working on several dot.com projects, I searched for a position that would allow me to push myself professionally. Although the majority of my experience comes from a technical background, I jumped at a position in Zonar covering the southwestern region. My primary responsibilities included attending trade shows and managing sales calls.

As I continued to progress, my territory became more and more successful.
