Corporate Giving
Philosophy
Zonar believes in giving back to the communities that have supported us since our founding in 2001. We focus our efforts on organizations that take on social issues affecting our employees and customers. We’re working to strengthen the growing partnership between Zonar and the communities in which we work and live, and see charitable donation as our corporate responsibility.
We Give as a Company
Each year we sponsor a charity in the name of Zonar and its employees. Sponsorship can include fiscal donation, fundraiser sponsorship, or participation and support of outside fundraising events.
We Empower our Employees
We encourage and support the charitable activities and involvement for our employees. Each Zonar employee is eligible for a Zonar matching contribution in support of his or her favorite charity.

Making A Difference
Green Cross for Safety Medal
Zonar sponsors the National Safety Council’s principal fundraising event awarding the Green Cross for Safety Medal.
Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Associates (FBINAA) Youth Leadership Program
Zonar sponsors an instructor/counselor to participate in the Youth Leadership Program (YLP), a holistic week-long leadership program that focuses on inspiring our future leaders toward a career in law enforcement.
National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) and Zonar Technology Grants
School districts submit applications through NAPT each year for technology grants offered through Zonar. Each year, a handful of schools receive $50,000 each to equip their fleets with the latest safety technology. Learn more.
Seattle Basket Brigade
Beginning in 2015, Zonar is excited to partner with the Seattle Basket Brigade, a non-profit that works to assemble and deliver Thanksgiving baskets to families in need in the Greater Seattle Area. In October, Zonar held an internal silent auction and raised a little over $2,600 to support the Seattle Basket Brigade. Learn more.
Arthritis Foundation - Seattle Jingle Bell Run/Walk 5K
Zonar is excited to sponsor the 2015 Seattle Jingle Bell Run/Walk through downtown Seattle to support the research and education of the Arthritis Foundation, a cause close to home for one of our Zonarians. Zonar is a Bronze Bell sponsor of the race and a team of Zonarians will run, walk and crawl the 5K on December 13th. Learn more.
National School Transportation Association (NSTA) and Zonar Technology Grants
The National School Transportation Association (NSTA) and Zonar are pleased to announce and jointly sponsor a grant opportunity for up to $50,000 in smart fleet hardware technology that supports and promotes the improved safety, effectivenessand efficiency of pupil transportation programs in the United States and Canada.
